Job title: Senior Project Manager (Consultancy)

Our client, an award winning ‘Building’ magazine Top 150 construction consultancy are seeking a senior project manager to join their London office. This company are well established with 32 technical staff across their two offices in Central London & West Sussex; offering project management, project planning, cost consultancy, construction management and property consultancy services across a range of different sectors including: commercial, residential, education, aviation, healthcare, retail and many more.

Senior Project Manager role:

You will be joining the team of 13 project managers, answering to one of the directors. Your responsibilities will include the development of construction projects of all types, from inception through to completion including chairing meeting with stakeholders, project planning, programme management, cost management, risk management and the management of external consultants. Their client base at the moment is largely automotive and student accommodation. Projects are evenly spread across the UK going up to Leeds, Manchester and Newcastle as well as London & home counties and down by the south coast so there is some travel involved with this position.

As a senior, there is scope to manage the more junior members of staff should you wish, with an individually tailored progression plan into associate level.

If you are interested in continued professional development, there is scope to become MRICS or MAPM at this company. They have the necessary assessors with experience to be able to offer a plan and support to achieve chartership in a timely and successful manner.

Senior project manager requirements:

  • Building Surveying, Quantity Surveying, Project Management or relevant degree
  • Experience with contract administration and project management within a consultancy. Any private residential, hotels or accommodation sector experience would prove beneficial
  • Client facing, commercial and professional
You can expect a salary up to £70,000 with CPD fees paid for and other benefits.
