Our client is an award-winning multi-disciplinary building design consultancy company that is looking for a talented assistant building surveyor to join their team. If you are looking to vastly expand your skillset and knowledge base, whilst progressing with your APC this is the company for you.

Career progression as an Assistant Building Surveyor:

The  client is dedicated to your professional development. They operate an open and inclusive environment and on top of the knowledge and experience the building surveyors are keen to divulge, they will provide full support throughout the APC process to help you achieve Chartered status. They even have an in-house APC Assessor and Chairperson and Chairperson to help advise you to succeed. 

Duties include:

  • Assisting on projects ranging in size from small refurbishments to new build educational facilities
  • Construction administration
  • Project management  and co-ordinating Design teams and contractors
  • Advising clients in all aspects of their properties
As an Assistant Building Surveyor you should:
  • Be client focused
  • Be self-motivated and have the ability to work autonomously
  • Be eager to learn
  • A minimum 2.2 BSc in Building Surveying or an equivalent degree
  • At least 1 year of practical experience pre- or post-graduation as an Assistant/graduate surveyor
  • Excellent written English and communication skills
  • Proficiency in CAD
  • Highly competitive salary of up to £30,000 pa depending on experience
