Structural Engineer - Design engineer to project engineer level
Permanent
Huddersfield
£27,000 - £38,000 + pension + subs + healthcare

Renowned for working on complex medium sized structural projects in the UK this mainstream Structural Engineering Consultancy has a requirement for a Structural Designt Engineer to join their expanding Huddersfield studio.

Current workload values range from £2million to £25million. The majority of the projects are complex and based in the north west so site experience is gained on a weekly basis. They are a company who allow their engineers to develop through project exposure and responsibility so you can be assured of rapid professional development upon joining.

As a business they are increasingly gaining access to rail based projects so if you have a desire to work on rail based structures this role will offer a lot of scope for development.

The role requires you to work alongside an associate on a number of projects as the design engineer. You will also be mentoring the graduates and technicians assigned to your projects in order to ensure the design process is effective and successful as well as being mentored yourself by the Associate.

To be considered for this opportunity will need to be a Graduate member of IStructE or ICE, be educated to MEng/MSc-level (2:1 min) and should have gained good design skills in refurbishment and new-build projects within the UK market. You will have good communication skills and be happy to be supported to chartership (MICE or MIStructE) over the next 3 years.

In return they are in a position to offer a good base salary and an impressive benefits package. You will be working in a recently refurbished, relaxed studio environment alongside other talented Structural Engineers and there is broad scope for career development along with a busy social calendar.

To be considered apply now as the role is due to shortlist in the next 10 days.
