2 Senior / Project Structural Engineers
Central London
Permanent
£42,000 - £52,000

An outstanding opportunity for 2 structural engineers to join this expanding progressive consultancy based in modern offices in central London. The role has huge scope for professional progression with a direct path to associate director within 2 years along with associated pay rises and bonuses.

As a practice they are able to offfer a relaxed, studio working environment with a collaborative, supportive approach to their engineering. They love getting buildings built and contributing to the creative process. They are well structured with a sensible approach to staff matters and a happy workforce demonstrated by the low staff turnover. They currently have 28 staff.

The role is to head up one of 2 new teams that are in the process of being formed due to a rapidly expanding workload. Recent projects they have won include an £80m London tower, a £60m mixed use new build complex in Essex, a £32m resi/leisure refurb/cut and carve project in West London and a £52m new build healthcare project. They have a broad material range with recent projects focused on RC frames.

The role requires 2 engineers who are at the project leading position in their career, ideally chartered however decent non chartered engineers will also be considered with a view to achieving chartership over the next 24 months. You will be leading a team of 5 as well as representing the company with all third party stakeholders. You will be mentoring junior members of staff as well as working closely with the designers to deliver the projects. You will ideally be working in the London market currently on similar projects in a similar role.

These roles are part of the succession plan for the business so will lead to Associate Director opportunities as the practice continues to grow and develop.

These roles will be of interest to engineers who are in a larger organisation and find themselves blocked from progression as the associates are already in place, or those in a smaller company where there is not the ambition to grow and develop the business and satisfy your ambition.

So if you are interested in a cracking role with a great structural consultancy then apply now as the proejcts have been won and need to be delivered.
