Job Title: Graduate Building Surveyor- no experience required
Salary: £22,000 – £28000
Location: Surrey (South West London)
Our client is a multi-disciplinary building consultancy who is looking for up to 2 fresh graduate building surveyors to train up in their building surveying team of 4. This company has a reputation for working on high-end residential properties (values of which ranging in the tens of millions), residential and commercial properties. This kind of variety is essential for completing your APC.
What the job of a Graduate Building Surveyor looks like:
Initially you will be working on a social housing contracting carrying out aid. This will include:
- Fit outs and refurbishments
- AutoCAD work
- Measured Surveys
- Full building surveys
- Some party walls and dilapidations
Progression of a Graduate Building Surveyor:
Our client is looking to train you up to become a competent chartered surveyor. With the onboarding of commercial contracts, there should be plenty of opportunity to progress within the company. Our client also provides APC support, and is currently supporting 4 employees through their APC.
Requirements of a Graduate Building Surveyor:
- RICS accredited degree in Building Surveying
- Strong AutoCAD skills are required
- Knowledge of how to write specifications
- Full clean driving licence, and access to your own car.
- Excellent written and verbal communication
