Are you a Graduate Structural Engineer looking for an exciting new opportunity? Would you like the opportunity to develop alongside a small but well established consultancy? A small, growing consultancy based in   Cambridgeshire are currently looking for a Structural Design engineer to join their team. They are looking for a graduate engineer, preferably with some commercial experience in the UK. The client is a young business growing through an amplified capacity of business owing to client recommendations. They offer engineering design from foundation to superstructure on a large range of projects in different sectors from domestic projects to large, new-build developments including offsite construction techniques, multi-storey buildings and more.

Ideally, they are looking for candidates that will match these requirements:

  • A degree in structural/civil engineering and/or relevant professional experience working as an engineer or technician in a structural or civil engineering consultancy
  • An interest in continued career development as a structural engineer including an interest in developing skills across a wide range of construction techniques and project sizes.
  • Practical working knowledge of AutoCAD, TEDDS, TEKLA STRUCTURE DESIGNER, REVIT and QUICKSOFT design packages would be an advantage. Competency in CAD drawing and detailing would also be advantageous.
  • Engineering design and analysis experience in steel, concrete, timber and masonry to UK building regulations would be a significant advantage.
 

They are looking for candidates that will be motivated and comfortable in dealing with clients and carrying out the client facing aspects of engineering roles, as they encourage a high level of client interaction.

Salary is negotiable and heavily dependent on experience, but they are looking to pay UP TO £35,000 for applicants with more UK experience. They also offer a flexible working environment, training tailored to you specifically and will support a high level of responsibility.
