Static Electrical M&E Engineer – 42k – East London

I am currently representing a major client within the M&E industry who have an exciting role for a static Electrical M&E maintenance engineer to be based on a prolific site within East London.


The role is permanent, 40 hours per week, core hours from Monday to Friday, (06.00am to 10pm).

 
The primary function of the role is to provide both reactive and planned maintenance support with emphasis on electrical services. The role holder will be required to deliver electrical services to the site ensuring that all electrical components and equipment are maintained to industry and statutory standards. The role must also ensure that all electrical installations work efficiently within industry standards and work closely with electrical staff including technical services and contractors to ensure their work is compliant and adheres to health and safety requirements and meets all appropriate KPI’s/SLA’s. The role holder may tend to focus on specific areas based on individual experience levels. 

This role requires someone with broad experience as a multi skilled technician but with expertise and qualifications in Electrics. HV Training is also an advantage. Weekend work is also required and is planned on a rotation basis well in advance.


Qualified to City & Guilds standard in a building services related discipline or equivalent.


For example but not limited to the following for roles with Electrical bias:

  1. C&G 2360 Electrical(level 2)/ Equivalent C&G 2330
  2. 18th Edition IEE Regulations qualified
  3. C&G 2391 Inspection & Testing/Equivalent C&G 2394/5
  4. C&G 2377-12 Portable Appliance Testing
 


Experience


Able to demonstrate a history of Electrical & Mechanical (multi-disciplined building services) experience within a public environment.


The salary is £40-42,000 per annum with a discretionary bonus potential of 5% subject to company and business performance. Overtime is paid at flat rate.
