Static Maintenance Engineer – North London – 30 – 35K

I am currently representing an excellent building services company who are in need of a engineer to look after X2 sites within North London. Both sites are a short commute from one another and you will be allocated one site to cover for a day.

You will be working as a team of X2 engineers and our client are looking for someone from either a basic electrical or plumbing background to provide PPM, service and repair work on the two sites.

You will be working on a certain shift pattern and rotating with the other engineer on the following:

  • 6.30 – 3.30
  • 11 – 7
 

About You as the Maintenance Engineer
  • Basic Building services / maintenance background.
  • Basic Electrical and Plumbing knowledge
  • Plumbing, carpentry and general building services skills
  • Experience working in large commercial building
  • Must be smart and presentable, have excellent communication skills and be client facing as
  • you will be interacting with the client on site on a daily basis
 

Able to complete the following tasks:
  • Swimming Pool maintenance – full training provided along with additional qualifications.
  • Changing light bulbs and ensuring other fixtures and fittings are in good working order
  • Minor plumbing and carpentry and repairs in the club
  • Clearing or cleaning general areas
  • Shifting furniture or equipment
  • Assembling furniture or equipment
  • General garden/landscape and maintenance
  • Footpath maintenance
  • Painting and decorating
  • Clearing gutters
  • Changing filters on air conditioning systems
  • Maintaining property exterior through the different seasons
  • Plant & BMS status checks
 

Salary & Package:
  • 30 – 35K depending on experience
  • Company reimbursement of mileage should you need to visit the second site.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on two sites local to each other in North London with opportunities for the right candidate to move into management positions on site.
