Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer -Peterborough – Up to £45K

 

THE COMPANY:

My client are a family run firm who are entering their 46th year of trading! With 3 divisions in the company they are continually growing from strength to strength, The 3 divisions being Electrical contracting department, Interior fit out, and Building services. They currently stand at 15 engineers strong with all of the Managers/ Directors being ex engineers.

 

THE JOB: COMMERCIAL GAS ENGINEER – PETERBOROUGH – UP TO £45K

My client are seeking a building services AC engineer to carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance and reactive repairs to building services within commercial & industrial buildings and factory environments.

Working hours: Mon – Fri 8:00am – 4:30pm (30 mins lunch)

• Ensure that Planned Preventative Maintenance is carried out in line with task schedules and industry best practices.
• Produce clear and concise written reports in a timely manner.
• Identify any defects found and report to site representative and Line Manager.  Providing a parts list and estimated timescale to carry out remedial works.
• Attend site and carry out reactive repairs as instructed by helpdesk team.
• Maintain the professional image of the company at all times.
• Establish and maintain a good working relationship with all employees and clients’ representatives.
• Complete Risk Assessments for each task and ensure the provision of a Safe & Healthy working environment.

• Recognised GAS SAFE Commercial Qualifications
• Recognised GAS SAFE Domestic Qualifications (desirable)
• Recognised OFTEC Qualifications (desirable)
• Recognised mechanical qualifications (desirable)
• IPAF and PASMA qualifications (desirable)
• Knowledge of other HVAC building services an advantage.

• £40,000 - £45,000 (dependant on experience and qualifications)
• Van and fuel card + Travel
• 22 + BH
• WEEKLY PAY!
• Call out rota 1 in 10 weeks £150 standby + min 4 hours when called out
