Mobile AC Building Services Engineer – Peterborough – up to £37K


 


THE CLIENT:


My client are a family run firm who are entering their 46th year of trading! With 3 divisions in the company they are continually growing from strength to strength, The 3 divisions being Electrical contracting department, Interior fit out, and Building services. They currently stand at 15 engineers strong with all of the Managers/ Directors being ex engineers.

 

THE JOB:


My client are seeking a building services AC engineer to carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance and reactive repairs to building services within commercial & industrial buildings and factory environments.


Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 4.30pm  40 hour weeks


 


DUTIES:


To take responsibility of the Air Conditioning and Refrigeration plant and equipment, including trouble shooting, liaison with the customers and suppliers.


 


To carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance and Reactive Repairs to air conditioning plant and associated equipment / controls. Within a number of commercial and industrial buildings.


 

• Ensure that Planned Preventative Maintenance is carried out in line with task schedules and industry best practices.
• Identify any defects found to Line Manager and provide parts list and estimated timescale to carry out remedial works.
• Attend site and carry out reactive repairs as instructed.
• To undertake minor installation works.
• Ensure the provision of a Safe & Healthy working environment.
• Establish and maintain a good working relationship with all employees and clients’ representatives.

• Recognised Refrigeration / air conditioning qualifications,
• Recognised current refrigerant safe handling certificate.
• Good verbal communication skills at all levels.
•  Good written English skills
• Able to acquire and maintain sufficient knowledge of a buildings’ operation and services.

• £35,000 - £37,000 depending on experience
• Van and fuel card + Travel
• 22 + BH
• WEEKLY PAY!
• Call out rota (TBC)
