HVAC Sales & Project Manager – 40 - 60K – Essex

I am currently helping a exciting new HVAC business with an enviable reputation in Essex. There is a new position within the business where they are looking for a HVAC Sales & Project manager or a experienced AC engineer to join a growing team.

The role is key within the business and would suit someone with several years of experience in a customer facing role, having been involved in a significant amount of “on the tools” work earlier in their career. Relevant experience in air conditioning, ventilation and heating is important, although air conditioning is the primary experience required, as training in heating products and ventilation will be arranged as necessary.

The client is willing to look at a experienced project manager or would be open to looking at a seasoned HVAC engineer who comes from a strong installation & service background and is looking to take a step up into a HVAC sales & project role.

  • AC Company based in Essex
  • East Anglia and South East based specialist team of engineers offering air conditioning and heating installation, repairs and maintenance.
  • Look after a Commercial portfolio consisting of retail, restaurants, office space & NHS sites.
 

Detailed Role

As office and field based HVAC Project Manager, you will see through and manage the whole process of initiating and seeking out enquiries, following them up, arranging site visits, conversing with potential customers on site, taking down details of the requirement, whilst impressing the customer with your knowledge. Then preparing a detailed costing and quotation, in conjunction with other office staff.

Once the quote is issued, to then follow it up with the potential client and convert the quote into a sale. When the customer order is received, to arrange dates for the work, working closely with other office staff, to sort out all the details such as procurement and resources required. The role is to then see the job through to a successful conclusion so that the client is delighted with the end product. This will involve meeting with clients, employees and contractors on site and overseeing the job in a well-organized way so that the job runs smoothly and efficiently.

 The values of the projects will be anything from 10 – 50K and you will be in charge of your own P&L.
