Job Description

Mechanical Design Engineer
Location: East London
Salary: £40k - £50k (dependant on experience)

A Principal Contractor are presently looking for someone to join their dynamic M&E design team. They are winning lots of work and this is a great opportunity for someone who is skilled in using Revit to gain further design exposure.

The Role
  • Under the supervision of the Senior Engineer(s), produce drawings, designs, technical documents and specifications to meet project scope / requirements.
  • Design in accordance with all current industry recognised design guides, British Standards and Building Regulations etc.
  • Work efficiently with the in-house Architectural Design Department and external design teams accordingly.
  • Manage design output to agreed programmes.
  • Instigate, where possible, standard design solutions.
Experience/Requirements
  • Minimum accredited degree qualified (i.e. BEng Building Services Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, etc)
  • Significant professional background in Building Services Design Engineering.
  • Suitable experience of new build residential projects, including communal heating and CHP.
  • Good technical and interpersonal skills.
  • Competent in using Revit.
  • Capable of working with minimal supervision.
  • Must be a team player within their friendly and collaborative environment.
