A well established and reputable Building Services Consultancy are presently seeking an Associate Mechanical Engineer. They have 2 offices and are looking for someone to join their team within their office based in West Yorkshire where they specialise in healthcare, laboratory, workplace, residential, warehouse and distribution building types.

They pride themselves on maintaining a great variety of projects and encourage lots of free thinking as every project is very much treated as a unique learning experience. The Associate will be responsible for managing the workload and technical standards of local design engineering staff with the support of the Team Leader. Of course, a primary responsibility will be managing the successful and timely execution of projects in line with their criteria. This involves being capable of the full design of Mechanical or Electrical services including the preparation of drawings, calculations, proposals as well as all relevant supporting documentation for projects at Pricing and Construction stages to ensure the Client’s requirements are met.

What they expect from a successful applicant:

- A relevant / appropriate university degree.
- Chartered Engineer, or working towards Chartership.
- Computer literate with Hevacomp and IES. Revit and Stabicad skills are desirable.
- Great communication and organisation skills.
