Senior Mechanical Design Engineer
Office Location: Greater Manchester
Salary: £45k - £55k
A growing Building Services Consultancy are aiming to employ a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their dynamic team within their Manchester office. They have been established for well over 60 years and have won various awards within the industry since starting out. The consultancy are at the forefront of assisting companies and organisations towards net zero, especially with the support of their advanced modelling software.
As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you will deliver and lead a diverse range of projects across all sectors, however, primarily in the Healthcare sector. A primary responsibility will be to produce detailed designs, drawings and schematics using various software’s whilst meeting all relevant British Standards, Building Regulations and other relevant standards. Additionally, you will liaise with clients, manage client and design team relationships as well as attend site surveys and project meetings.
What they expect from a successful applicant:
- An appropriate / relevant University Degree
- Have extensive Healthcare sector experience and a great working knowledge of HTMs and HBNs
- Have great skill associated with mechanical building services design and an awareness of all technical requirements, legislation and best practice
- Confidence as well as brilliant communication skills
