The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
Job Responsibilities:
- Complete designs for drainage, highways, foundations, groundworks and more.
- Regularly liaise with clients, contractors, architects, and design team members.
- Attend site meetings for surveys, design team collaboration, and project updates.
- Produce drawing and model packages within defined project timelines.
- Develop proposals for residential, commercial, industrial, road, and drainage projects.

Successful candidate specifications:
- Minimum 3 years' UK experience within highways / road and drainage designs, preferably in private development schemes
- Relevant Civil or Structural Engineering qualification (BEng/MEng/MSc/etc.)
- A full UK driving licence would be beneficial but is not essential
- Strong communication skills with the ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with clients and colleagues
- A good 'can do' attitude
- Working knowledge of Eurocodes, British Standards and Irish Codes
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Civils 3D, MS Word and Excel, etc.
- An interest and desire to learn & apply themselves to technical drainage & highway design problems
- Must be eligible to work within the UK
Desirable specifications:
- Knowledge of Civil Engineering designs (Manholes/Shafts/Cover Slabs/etc.)
- Desire to attain Chartered status
- Member of, or working towards membership, of relevant professional body
