The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of advanced drainage designs for large-scale and complex projects.
- Ensure all designs adhere to the latest regulations and industry standards
- Liaise with regulatory bodies to secure necessary approvals and permits.
- Lead multidisciplinary project teams, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and ensure they are adhered to throughout the project lifecycle.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies.
- Mentor junior and intermediate engineers, providing guidance and support in their professional development.

Successful candidate specifications:
- Minimum relevant UK experience of 4+ years’ in drainage, and/or highways and infrastructure design;
- In-depth understanding of industry processes, including planning applications, procurement, and technical approvals.
- Proficiency in industry software like Microdrainage, Causeway Flow, Civil 3D, and AutoCAD.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, graphical).
- Exceptional report-writing skills.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- High proficiency in MS Office products (Excel, Word).
- Commercial awareness.
- Strong teamwork and time management skills.
