A well-established multidisciplinary engineering consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior Civil Engineer to join its growing Limerick office.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Civil Engineer to play a key role in the delivery of infrastructure and development projects across Ireland whilst benefiting from clear progression opportunities, flexible working arrangements and a strong technical support network.

 The RoleYou will be responsible for leading the design and delivery of civil engineering projects from feasibility through to construction, working closely with clients, local authorities and multidisciplinary teams.
Project sectors include:

• Residential developments
• Public sector housing
• Commercial developments
• Industrial projects
• Infrastructure schemes
• Data centres
• Mixed-use developments

Responsibilities will include:

• Roads and drainage design
• Water infrastructure design
• Flood Risk Assessments
• Infrastructure planning and technical reports
• Planning and tender documentation
• Client and stakeholder management
• Coordination of multidisciplinary project teams
• Mentoring and supporting junior engineers
• Project delivery from concept through construction

 Requirements

• Degree qualified Civil Engineer
• Minimum 5 years' relevant experience
• Previous consultancy experience
• Strong roads, drainage and infrastructure design background
• Experience delivering projects through planning and construction stages
• Good knowledge of design standards and approval processes
• Strong communication and client-facing skills
• Full driving licence

 Desirable

• Chartered Engineer status or working towards Chartership
• Civil 3D experience
• AutoCAD proficiency
• Drainage modelling software experience
• Experience managing project teams and mentoring junior staff
