Civil Infrastructure Engineer
Central London (Zone 1)

The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Civil Infrastructure Engineer to join the London Office or circa 120 staff and play a leading role in the design of some of the most exciting and prestigious civil engineering design projects in the UK and worldwide.

Working alongside a team of specialist engineers and technicians, as well as colleagues across a range of engineering disciplines, you will ensure the delivery of technically excellent and profitable projects.

You will take responsibility for all aspects of design across a numerous and varied portfolio of civil engineering projects, concerned predominantly with infrastructure within the built environment.

The Skills

  • Educated to degree level in Civil or Structural Engineering (MEng or BEng), and having already achieved or working towards achieving chartership with the Institute of Civil Engineers.
  • You should have demonstrable experience in a Civil Engineering role within a consultancy environment
  • Well versed in relevant civil design software such as AutoCAD, Microdrainage and Civil 3D / PDS.
  • Good knowledge in drainage design and the ability to carry out flood risk assessments is desirable.
You should have relevant experience in civil engineering design relating to the built environment, including hydraulics and geotechnics, and crucially - have a passion for creative and intuitive design.

The candidate will possess both technical knowledge and managerial ability with a proven track record in being able to successfully deliver projects on time and within budgetary constraints.
