Senior Mechanical Design Engineer
Building Services Consultancy in Buckinghamshire (projects nationwide)
£45k - £55k (DOE) – predominantly remote working

A small yet established building services engineering consultancy are looking for experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join their business.

They have experienced an incredibly busy 12 months and, due to a strong orderbook, they need to expand their mechanical team.

With the directors looking to plan for the future, they are looking for an self-motivated, reliable and ambitious individual that they has potential to progress to director level over the next few years.

They are currently doing a number of educational, high-end residential, hotel and healthcare projects and surveys across the UK and they require a strong mechanical design engineer to conduct condition surveys and do design work.

Whilst their office is based in Buckinghamshire, they are considering applicants from locations further out as they are able to accommodate long-term remote working with perhaps 1 day per week in the office.

To apply for this Senior Mechanical Design Engineer role: 

• You must have a minimum of 5 years’ UK experience in mechanical building services design engineering on ideally a variety of project sectors
• Experience in the design and specification of all Mechanical (HVAC) and Public Health building services systems
• Be able to carry out and manage others in the production of details calculations using
• Experience in industry standard building services design software
• Have experience in site surveys, inspections and monitoring work on site and good report/technical note writing
• Have a full UK drivers’ license and access to your own car
• Be able to pass a DBS check

They are looking to pay circa £45k - £55k DOE.
