An outstanding opportunity has become available with an international facade company that are looking to expand their London based project / design management team. They currently have a number of projects ranging from £5-10 million in London and the home counties are needing more staff to help manage their upcoming work load. See below for a brief description of the role.
They are seeking an engineer who is comfortable leading projects from the early stages through to completion, a professional who can attend meetings and represent the consultancy with all third party stakeholders.
For the second half of this year we have 3 projects in the centre of London and 1 project in Oxford, ranging from 3m£ to 7m£ in contract value.
The project manager would be responsible for following and managing the project from Design stage (with the help of our Design manager) up to practical completion.
Main responsibilities:
- coordinating and managing all site related issues with the main contractor (logistics, programme, craneage, Method statements, Health & safety issues,….)
- appointing and managing subcontractors (installation works, mastic works, handset stone, finishing works, final clean,…)
- coordinating and managing design related issues with our design team and /or third party structural engineer
- ordering materials if required
- preparing & managing: inspection & test plans, method statements, RAMS, quality plan, O&M manuals, hand-over documents, etc.
- coordinating with our site manager (if applicable)
- preparing and managing applications, site instructions, extra costs (commercial management in general)
