The client is a successful, independent fire safety company that has been operating for over 25 years. As
well as fire the company also provide services covering access, CCTV, intruder and data systems. 99% of their work is within the M25 as with their large network of engineers and their well co-ordinated logistics team, they make sure that engineers are kept as close to home as possible. They are recruiting as they have continued to remain busy throughout lockdown and they have also won more contracts requiring them to hire at least 3 more fire alarm engineers. They carry out design, installation, commissioning and servicing of fire alarm systems for both addressable and non addressable systems.
Depending on your skill set you will be installing commissioning or servicing fire alarm systems. It doesn't matter if you are only trained in one of these areas as training can be available in order to widen your skill set.
work on tools will include but not be limited to: installations, commissioning, planned maintenance, fault-finding, call-outs, and repairs
Sharing the out of hours call-out rota with existing engineers.
Essential Experience and skills
5+ years’ fire alarms experience
Good understanding of BS5839 and/or BAFE requirements
Broad experience of fire alarm systems such as EM, Morley, Advanced and Kentec
Electrical qualification preferred but not essential
Hours - 9-5 Monday to Friday.
Package: Company vehicle, phone and laptop.
Salary. £negotiable according to experience plus overtime and call out rota.
