I have an exciting opportunity available for an Commercial Gas Installation Engineer who wants to progress to Supervisor in the near future.
My client are a Building Services & Specialist Contractor who have been established in 2003 who have 8 Offices throughout the UK.
As a business, they employ 300+ Staff Nationally and are expected to Turnover £55Mil+ this year.
Working within the Commercial & Public Sectors, their sites are generally within London, Surrey, Kent & Sussex.
Due to growth of business, they are now seeking an Commercial Gas installation Engineer to join their Midlands Team.
THE JOB – COMMERCIAL GAS INSTALLATION ENGINEER / WORKING SUPERVISOR
You will be working on a mobile basis covering the Midlands.
Monday – Friday / 8am - 4pm
As a Commercial Gas Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, testing, and commissioning of commercial gas systems.
You will ensure that all work complies with industry standards and regulations, delivering high-quality service to our clients. Your role will involve working on a variety of projects, from small installations to large-scale developments, and you will play a critical part in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our gas systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, test, and commission commercial gas systems, including boilers, burners, heaters, and other gas appliances.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate installation.
- Conduct site surveys and risk assessments to determine installation requirements and potential hazards.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineers to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to gas installations, ensuring minimal disruption to clients.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment at all times.
- Complete all necessary documentation, including installation records, test certificates, and compliance reports.
- Provide technical advice and support to clients and colleagues as needed.
- Keep up-to-date with industry standards, best practices, and emerging technologies.
You must have:
- Full Commercial Gas Qualifications
- UK Drivers Licence
- Clean DBS
SALARY & PACKAGE
£45,000 - £50,000
