My client are a MEP Design & Build Company who have been operating for over 40 years.

Based out of their Office in Surrey, they specialise in Commercial Fit-Outs, Industrial, Retail and Healthcare Projects across London & The Home Counties.

Project Values range from £500k - £11million, but tend to generally fall between £1mil - £2mil (M&E Value).

Due to a strong pipeline of work coming up, they are now seeking an Electrical Project Manager to join the team.

THE ROLE – ELECTRICAL PROJECT MANAGER

Monday – Friday / 8.30 – 5.30 (with option for early finish on Friday)

Your week will be split between being based in their Surrey Office and also on Site. Once settled into the Company, there is an option to work from home.

You will be Project Managing a variety of projects and depending on value, this could be multiple projects at one time.

Duties and responsibilities include:

  • To receive and review drawings and specifications from client or main contractor
  • To resolve discrepancies with the client
  • To ensure work is carried out to a high standard
  • To ensure each contract is maximised on returns
  • To maintain good working relationships with clients and main contractors
  • To complete company paperwork clearly and legibly
  • To record variations to contract and provide information to QS
  • To assist interims and final account payments
  • Complete monthly cost to complete (WIP) on all live projects every month
  • Review all tender information on handover on each project from the Estimating Team
 
SALARY & PACKAGE
  • £70,000 - £75,000
  • Travel Expenses or Car Allowance/Car
  • Bonus Scheme  - Employee Ownership Trust (Tax Free up to a certain amount)
  • 25 Days Hols & 8 Bank – (can rise up to 30 days after years service)
