Home based Fire risk assessor is required to cover fire risk assessments for a wide range of building types across Scotland. 

The company is an independant consultancy that has been established for nearly 40 years. They offer consultancy services in all aspects of fire safety, including fire risk assessments, surveys and audits, fire safety design and management, fire engineering/fire safety strategies, specifications for fire protections systems, fire detection and alarms and gaseous extinguishing systems, and fire training.

The practice also carries out investigations of existing systems.  In addition to these services, they provide expert witness in cases involving alleged offences under fire safety legislation, and for civil litigation.

The candidate
You should be a qualified Fire Risk Assessor who has carried out fire risk assessment for housing/ schools/ commercial premises/ healthcare type buildings. You will need to have relevant FDIS / IFE or NEBOSH training as well as a full driving licence. Candidates with experience of fire safety training or a background in fire fighting would be highly desirable

The package
Package will include a vehicle or car allowance. The role is to replace a candidate that is retiring so there can be a degree of flexibility in start date, but the sooner the better.

We have allocated a falkirk postcode to this advert, but you can be based anywhere in scotland as long as you are happy to service clients across the central belt and beyond
