We are working with a respected structural engineering consultancy based near Hemsworth who are seeking a motivated Structural Engineer with around 2 years of industry experience to join their expanding team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious engineer to build on their experience, gain exposure to a variety of projects, and progress towards professional qualifications in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the design and analysis of structures across residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
• Carry out structural calculations and support senior engineers in project delivery.
• Prepare technical reports, drawings, and documentation.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality outcomes.
• Contribute to site inspections and provide technical input throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (BEng/MEng or equivalent).
• Around 2 years of professional experience within a consultancy or structural engineering role.
• Strong understanding of structural design in steel, concrete, timber, and masonry.
• Familiarity with structural analysis software packages.
• Eagerness to learn, develop, and work towards chartership (ICE or IStructE).
