Mobile HVAC Lead / Supervisor – 40 - 55K – Hampshire
I am currently representing an excellent facilities management company who have a exciting new opportunity for HVAC lead / supervisor Engineer to join a growing HVAC team. They have been successfully operating for over 40 years providing a wide range of services to high end commercial clientele across Hampshire, Surrey, Berkshire, Sussex & London.
They are looking for an HVAC lead / supervisor Mobile Engineer preferably having worked in the building services industry, with experience to perform reactive and planned maintenance work on air conditioning systems & associated building services equipment.
Duties to include:
The ideal candidate would be:
- Literate with a solid technical background
- Someone who can read and create technical documentation.
- Capable of mentoring other engineers
- Solution orientated, put customer interest first and provide them with solutions to their problems.
- Engineer who is confident in taking control of the situation and puts customer at ease.
- Ensure they can provide a quotation to customer.
- Must understand and inspire others to complete relevant paperwork to a high standard.
- Planned preventative maintenance and fault finding on air conditioning systems.
- Replacement of AC component parts such as compressors, condensers & PCB boards.
- Working with HVAC & building services equipment
- An understanding of ventilation plant, pumps, pressurisation units, domestic hot & cold water systems and general building controls would be beneficial but not essential.
- Documentation & FGAS registers
- Working across airports, colleges, universities and commercial office space
Location of Work
The successful candidate will be covering mostly Hampshire, West Sussex, Surrey, and Berkshire areas along with some work in London.
Candidate requirements:
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in air conditioning & refrigeration
- FGAS CAT 1 qualified
- Clean DBS
- 40 - 55K basic salary – dependant on experience
- Van & Fuel card
- Travel after half hour EW
- Company phone & tablet – paperless system
- 25 days holiday + 8 days bank

- Call out 1 in 6 – 120 pound standby – rarely are calls not very frequent – minimum of 4 hours @ overtime –D2D on weekends
- Overtime is 1.5 in week & X2 on Sundays & bank
