Location: Berkshire (Hybrid Available Post-Probation)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm / 7:00am – 4:00pm

The Role

They are now looking for a Junior Mechanical Estimator to join our busy estimating department. They have identified this as a great opportunity for someone junior with a solid foundation in mechanical building services to grow within an experienced and supportive team.

As part of their in-house estimating team (currently comprising 1 Estimating Manager, 2 Electrical Estimators, and 2 Mechanical Estimators), you’ll be involved in assisting with the preparation of competitive mechanical tenders, working on diverse and rewarding projects.

 
Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of detailed mechanical estimates from drawings and specifications
• Attend site visits and tender meetings as required
• Conduct take-offs and collate supplier and subcontractor quotations
• Liaise with engineers, clients, and supply chain to support the estimating process
• Maintain estimating records and databases
• Support senior estimators in compiling final submission documents
• Work collaboratively with the wider commercial and pre-construction team

 

Salary & Package

 
Circa £35,000 (DOE)

24 Days Holiday + Birthday Off + Bank Holidays
