M&E Engineering Supervisor – Waterloo – 60K

We are currently recruiting for an experienced M&E Engineering Supervisor to oversee maintenance operations within a prestigious, high-end residential estate in Waterloo. This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically strong leader who can manage a small team while maintaining exceptional standards across landlord and tenant services.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Building Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day engineering operations across a premium residential estate, including some mixed-use elements. You’ll lead a team of engineers, ensuring all maintenance is delivered to a high standard while keeping the team motivated, accountable, and performing effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and support a team of on-site engineers
  • Oversee planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works
  • Ensure landlord services are maintained to a high standard, with tenant works managed and quoted correctly
  • Act as the technical lead on site, supporting fault finding and complex issues
  • Drive performance, standards, and accountability within the engineering team
  • Liaise closely with the Building Manager and wider estate team
About You
  • Strong technical background in either high-end residential or premium commercial environments with previous experience in a supervisory or lead engineering role

  • Apprenticeship or higher qualification in mechanical/electrical engineering or building services.
  • Health & Safety qualifications (IOSH, SSSTS, or NEBOSH) preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead in-house teams and external contractors, maintaining compliance and service excellence.
  • Strong working knowledge of statutory systems (L8, EICR, SFG20, LOLER, PUWER, building regulations).
  • Experience using CAFM systems and reactive maintenance systems.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Proactive, hands-on, and able to lead from the front
The Package
  • Salary: £60,000
  • Working hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 17:30
