SALARY & PACKAGE 

  • £23,000 - £25,500 per annum dependant on experience  
  • 21 days holiday increasing by 1 extra day every 2 years’ service up to a maximum of 25 days, plus statutory days

My client has been providing buildings support to local authorities, social landlords, NHS trusts and private sector clients for over 35 years.

Founded in 1979, they have a proven track record of delivering successful mechanical, electrical and security services and solutions to our commercial and domestic clients, with whom they have developed longstanding partnerships.


JOB SUMMARY

To manage and monitor legal compliant inspections and preventative planned maintenance programmes for various contracts. Prepare and submit application for payments associated with PPM and defective works.
  • Monday to Friday, between 08:30am – 5:00pm, 1-hour unpaid lunch break
  • 3-month probationary period
 
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Preparation of annual PPM and statutory compliance programme of works
  • Processing test certificates
  • Management and monitoring of specialist contractors, progress chasing etc.
  • Updating of the programme of works, preparation of performance and current status reports
  • Manage and control of the administration and development of the O’Cloud portal ensuring that the documents are uploaded in accordance with the O’Cloud procedures and in the set time limit
  • Preparation of application for payments and invoices
  • Produce quotes and invoices
  • Any other duties as reasonably requested
 
PERSON SPECIFICATION

The Ideal Candidate will:
  • Have experience of Microsoft Project, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Have basic knowledge of Asbestos awareness
  • Be able to prepare and design performance reports and charts (KPIS)
  • Be able to plan and prioritise their workload
  • Have strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills
  • Understand the importance of Health and Safety
  • Have experience of client liaison and collaborative working
  • Have experience of working with schedules of rates and prime cost-plus quotations
  • Have experience of working with Councils Building Services / London boroughs
  • Have knowledge of SFG20, PPM and Statutory compliance
Essential Qualifications/Skills: 
  • 5 GCSES graded between A* - C (or equivalent)
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal
