Renewables Service & Repair Engineer – Wolverhampton / Walsall (Midlands Patch)
Salary: £41,500 – £43,000 (DOE)
OTE: £50,000 – £60,000
Full Time | Permanent
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Renewables Service & Repair Engineer to join a growing team delivering renewable heating solutions across the Midlands.
This role is advertised for engineers based around Wolverhampton / Walsall, however the patch will cover various contracts across the Midlands.
There is no call-out or standby requirement for this position.

Overview of the Role
The Renewables Engineer will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing renewable heating systems within domestic properties.
This is a Monday to Friday mobile role covering a wider regional patch. 

Key Responsibilities
  • Service and repair renewable heating systems, including Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHP)
  • Diagnose system faults and carry out repairs efficiently
  • Ensure systems operate safely and in line with manufacturer guidelines
  • Deliver excellent customer service within occupied properties
  • Complete all required electronic documentation
  • Adhere to Health & Safety legislation and Safe Systems of Work
  • Maintain effective van stock control

Requirements
  • Proven experience working on renewable heating systems
  • ASHP qualifications desirable (training available for the right candidate with relevant experience)
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Willingness to travel across the Midlands region
  • Professional and customer-focused approach

Working Hours
Monday to Friday – 8:00am to 5:00pm (1 hour lunch)
No call-out rota required.

Package
  • £41,500 starting salary rising to £43,000 for strong renewables experience
  • OTE £50,000 – £60,000
