Static Electrical M&E Engineer –– North West London - £17.50p/h




My client is a M&E services contractor that specialises in the design, manufacture, supply, installation, testing and commissioning to a wide portfolio of commercial and industrial building services.


A highly successful, multi-disciplined building services company with a turnover in excess of £40 million, you would be joining their highly experienced and well established M&E building services maintenance and facilities management team.


They have many blue chip clients and work in major sectors including education, sports and leisure, healthcare, research, retail and offices with project value ranging up to 10 million. 


THE JOB – Static M&E Engineer – NW London


This is a temporary position until the beginning of September.


They currently have an exciting opportunity for a static multi-skilled engineer (electrical bias) Working on a static site in North West London, carrying out day to day PPM (2 days a week) and reactive maintenance (3 days a week). This would include looking after commercial Electrical and Mechanical building services.


Core responsibilities will be on the electrical works both PPM and reactive including;

  • Weekly Water Flushing
  • Weekly Fire Alarm Testing
  • Weekly Sprinkler Inspections
  • Monthly Emergency Light Testing
  • Monthly H&C Water Temp Checks
  • General HVAC PPM (Air Handling Units, Extract Fans, HW & Htg Plant (excluding Gas)
  • Working with other Kershaw engineers (they will be fully supported)
  • Ability to work unsupervised
  • Managing subcontractors
  • Completing valid and accurate paperwork and certification

The ideal candidate must have their 17/18th edition and either NVQ or City and guilds level 2 in electrical installations.
