Senior Fire Door Carpenter – £45,000

I am currently representing a well-established fire protection company, which is now looking to expand the passive fire department. Initially, they are looking for a Senior Fire Door Carpenter – who ideally has some surveying experience – to come in and help build up the team. Ultimately, this role will see the successful applicant transition into an office-based management role.

Salary Package:

• £40,000 - £45,000
• Company Van
• 25 Days holidays

• Running for 20 years, the company has 50 employees overall
• Cover London and Home Counties
• 75 % residential contracts, 25% commercial
• Looking for a senior fire door carpenter who can assist with building the team
• Currently use sub-contractors for fire doors but looking to bring it in house
• The role would be still on the tools initially, but progress to an office role as the team expands
• Would be required to liaise with clients and provide quotes having done surveys
• Install and service

• Training on risk assessments
• Training on surveying
• Training on inspections
• Ultimately moving off the tools into an office-based role
• Opportunity to manage and aid the development of the fire doors team

• Provide quotes for remedial work
• Fire door inspections
• Install and servicing of fire doors
• Managing sub-contractors
• Helping to grow the fire door team

• London and home counties

• Full UK Driving License
• Experience with installing and servicing fire doors
