Fire & Security Small Works and Remedials Estimator – £30,000 – Birmingham

 

RGB Network are currently representing a leading Fire & Security business based in Birmingham. After an influx of growth and new contracts, they are looking for an additional Fire & Security Small Works and Remedials Estimator to join their team.

 

Salary Package:

• £28,000 - £30,000
• 22 Days Holiday & 8 Days Bank
• Training & Progression
• Quarterly Bonuses
• Hybrid Working After Probation

• Birmingham (Office based)

• Assess any necessary remedial works, such as repairs, upgrades, or compliance-related modifications to existing systems.
• Prepare detailed and accurate quotes for clients, including a breakdown of costs and timelines.
• Evaluate the costs of labour, materials, equipment, and any subcontracted services required for fire and security projects, such as fire alarms, CCTV systems, access control, and intruder alarms.
• Have a deep understanding of fire and security systems, including the latest technologies and standards.
• Stay updated with relevant regulations, codes, and industry best practices to ensure compliance and accuracy in estimations.
• Identify potential risks associated with the project, such as delays, technical challenges, or cost overruns, and factor these into the estimates.
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and installation teams to ensure that estimates are practical and achievable.
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain accurate pricing and availability of materials.

• Previous Fire Estimating Experience
• Driving Licence
