Passive Fire Supervisor – Chigwell - £50,000

 

We are working with a passive fire specialist who are a leading provider of construction and building maintenance services committed to ensuring the safety and integrity of buildings. they specialize in passive fire protection systems installation and maintenance, catering to commercial, industrial, and residential clients.

 

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Passive Fire Supervisor to oversee the installation, inspection, and maintenance of passive fire protection systems on various construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of passive fire protection techniques, regulations, and standards, along with strong leadership and organizational skills.

 

Salary Package:

  • £45,000 - £50,000

Duties:
  • Supervise the installation, inspection, and maintenance of passive fire protection systems, including fire doors, fire-rated walls, firestopping, and fire-resistant coatings.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards related to passive fire protection.
  • Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to schedule and prioritize passive fire protection activities on construction sites.
  • Conduct site inspections to assess passive fire protection requirements and identify any deficiencies or areas for improvement.
  • Provide guidance and training to construction crews and subcontractors on proper installation techniques and procedures for passive fire protection systems.
  • Review project plans and specifications to ensure accurate implementation of passive fire protection measures.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to passive fire protection activities, including inspection reports, compliance certificates, and maintenance logs.
  • Collaborate with the design and engineering teams to develop passive fire protection strategies for new construction projects.
  • Stay informed about new developments, technologies, and best practices in passive fire protection to continuously improve processes and procedures.
  • Promote a culture of safety and adherence to quality standards among team members and subcontractors.

Requirements:
  • Experience within the passive fire industry
  • Driving license
