Senior Fire Damper Engineer – London - £40,000


 


My client fire & Security specialist company that carry out projects, maintenance and breakdown services to their commercial, industrial and retail client base. Mainly covering London and the home counties, with a head office based in Surrey, they now seek an experienced sales professional with a proven track record with within Industry.


 


Salary Package:

• £35,000 - £40,000
• Travel Time – Give 30 minutes each way

Job Description:


As a Senior Fire Damper Engineer, you will play a crucial role in our mission to protect lives and property by ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of fire damper systems. You will work closely with the directors and senior team to help grow the Damper division.


 


Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting thorough inspections and assessments of fire damper systems in various commercial and industrial settings.
• Designing, specifying, and implementing fire damper installation and retrofit projects.
• Providing technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
• Collaborating with project managers and clients to develop comprehensive fire damper maintenance and testing plans.
• Staying up-to-date with industry standards, codes, and regulations related to fire dampers.
• Conducting performance tests and analysing data to ensure compliance and functionality.
• Troubleshooting and resolving any issues with fire damper systems in a timely manner.
• Preparing detailed reports, documentation, and recommendations for clients.
• Assisting the Directors and Senior team to build up the fire damper division.
