Smoke Control Engineer – London - £46,000

We are representing a nationwide fire & security company that carries out the full fire & security Services From Design. Install To Maintenance Across The South East, due to sheer growth, they are seeking a smoke control engineer to join their growing team.


Salary Package:

• £40,000 - £46,000
• Travel Time Paid After A Hour Each Way Is Given

Responsibilities:

Perform routine inspection, testing, and maintenance of smoke control systems, including:

• Stairwell pressurisation systems
• Smoke exhaust and makeup air systems
• Atrium smoke control systems
• Car park smoke ventilation systems
• Conduct periodic functional testing in accordance with approved smoke control rational analysis, IBC, NFPA 92, and local fire codes.

Verify operation of:

• Smoke control fans, dampers, actuators, and sensors
• Fire/smoke dampers and motorized control dampers
• Control panels, VFDs, and power supplies
