Senior Water Hygiene engineer £38/43k – APPLY TODAY


My Client requires a water hygiene engineer to manage the water quality sampling and processes ( CW) across their portfolio of high end residential developments throughout london and the home counties.


The role requires you to attend different sites to complete a range of Legionella maintenance PPMs, remedial cleaning, sampling, monitoring, minor plumbing tasks to meet clients' requirements with a keen eye for detail.


Main Duties


-          Flushing & descaling of outlets, temperature monitoring and routine
monitoring tasks in line with ACOP L8/HSG 274 Control Regime


-          CWST inspections & surveys, clean & disinfections


-          Sampling in line with BS7592: Sampling for Legionella Bacteria in
Water Systems in multiple sector properties


-          Getting samples back from labs, arranging remedial work with sub contractors and making sure the work is carried out on time and safely.


-          Maintain our customer's water logbooks and complete the necessary
documentation in accordance with current guidelines and company policy.


-          To communicate daily to the service department that all tasks are carried out efficiently.
Ensure that any equipment for which you are responsible is kept clean
and is properly maintained.


-          All reporting completed on site.


To succeed in this role, you will need:

• Good understanding of ACOP L8 & HSG 274 parts 1,2,3
• Ability to complete paperwork & make recommendations from Service
  Visit
•  A keenness to progress and take on additional training
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with IT skills,
  including the use of Microsoft Office
