Graduate Civil Engineer

Nottingham 

Salary: £25,000 - £32,000 (Dependent on Experience)

 

About the Company:

Join a well-established civil and structural engineering consultancy with over 30 years of industry experience. They are looking for an enthusiastic graduate civil engineer to join their civils team in Nottingham.

 

Team Structure:

You will be joining a dedicated civils team of five professionals:

- Director

- Associate Engineer

- Graduate Civil Engineer

- Civil Technician

- Apprentice

 

This team boasts a combined 50 years of civil engineering experience. The rest of the company comprises structural engineers and one traffic specialist.

 

Job Responsibilities:

As a Graduate Civil Engineer, you will:

- Produce drainage and highway designs

- Conduct flood risk assessments for residential, commercial, and industrial projects

- Develop drainage strategies

- Work on Section 38 and 278 agreements for various projects

 

Current projects include:

- A £14 million residential development with 350 housing units

- Commercial projects, including a 20,000 square foot development

- Fire authority and station projects

- Sustainable energy sites
