Associate Director – Civil & Structural
Reports to: Director – Civil & Structural in London
Salary : £65,000 - £75,000k (salary + car/ travel allowance - total package will be subject to experience relative to others in the team)
This international multi-disciplined consultancy are on the lookout for an Associate Director to join a team of enthusiastic and committed team of Engineers and Technicians to work on high profile and interesting projects in their structures, highways and infrastructure team.
This company has 1100 people across the business globally and has doubled in size in the last 6 years with a turnover of over 100 million pounds!

- You'd be joining a diverse and dynamic team of technically strong design engineers who are passionate about making a positive impact in their communities through the work they do.
Lead C&S design delivery across multiple projects, in single- or multi- discipline teams:
- Lead multi-disciplinary design teams where required.
- Carry out technical design reviews / critiques of projects in progress
- A technical authority on civil and structural design
- Mentor, train and develop C&S team, particularly with reference to ICE training agreements or IStructE objectives.
The Associate Director requirements:
- Chartered Civil/ Structural Engineer CEng MICE/MIStructE, typically with at least 10 years post chartership experience.
- Appropriate depth and breadth of experience including ability to demonstrate fully developed leadership and management capabilities both within project teams and for wider departmental and business duties.
- CSCS Card supplemented with recognised and relevant safety training such as TWC, NEBOSH, IOSH, Nuclear Triple Bar or similar.
- Full Clean Current UK Driving Licence.

- Earthworks and site investigations
- Road and bridge design
- Specialist knowledge or sector expertise (eg nuclear, seismic, public sector, contaminated land, ground improvement, highways, Rail, defence & Life Sciences)
- Ability to lead a large team of professional.
- Experience of delegating and monitoring major elements of work.
- Experience of recruiting staff to engineering roles.
