They currently have a team of 9 strong in the Leeds office with a mix of apprentices , graduates and senior engineers.
The Role: Senior/Principal Civil Engineer
As a Senior/Principal Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Producing schematic/concept designs and detailed design of drainage and highways using Civils 3D
- Undertaking drainage and Sustainable Drainage Systems (SUDS) designs using Causeway Flow
- Preparing Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategy reports for planning
- Collaborating with other construction professionals in design development and project management as necessary
Main requirements
- Someone with good Civils 3D or equivalent with drainage networks experience
- Experience of mentoring and resourcing junior team members with a proactive approach.
- Line management experience to support team members in their career development.
- Project leader and manager of project finances.
- Experience of sustainable drainage systems concept and detailed design.
- Site experience including contractor liaison and management of health and safety
- Professionally qualified or demonstrably working towards professional qualification.
- Interest in working in a variety of sectors supporting NHS, Department for Education and private sector.
- Experience of liaising with authorities and design team members with problem solving approach.
- Checking and managing quality of outputs.
